Sweet Saturdays

Today Austin and I went to the EL Paso Zoo, and it was surprisingly really nice!

We saw a lot of cool animals.. lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, and my favorite..monkeys!

But I think we have the strangest looking animal at home...

Our walls in our apartment are very bare.
I wasn't sure I wanted to hang anything up since Austin is getting deployed in a few months, and I will be moving back home.. BUT I am so sick of looking at these blank walls.
So.. I've found a few ideas to try..

Hopefully I'll finish it this weekend!!!

Monday Madness

Today I learned that if I actually get dressed then stuff gets done!!!

I did the dishes, vaccumed the apartment, and mopped!

2 Weeks of Leave

We recently got back from our 2 weeks of leave.

We decided to road trip it home to the O.C., and we had a blast!

We went to Coronado Island, the Gaslamp district, Seaworld, and Los Angeles.

We even went line dancing (my choice) and shooting (Austin's choice).

On the way home we stopped in Tombstone, Arizonia.

It 's the cutest little town and we had a great time exploring mines and dressing up for old fashioned photos.

Now that we're home, I find this Elbert Hubbard quote truer than ever...
No man needs a vacation so much as the person who has just had one.
