Veggie Tales, Build a Bear, and Upholstering

Yesterday morning started out with a trip to the movies with my three year old nephew. Every Wednesday morning the theatre down the street has $1.00 children movies. This week's was a VERY long Veggie Tales movie. yippee. Afterwards Beck wanted to ride the train which was conveniently next to Build a Bear. So of course we went in and made a bear. 'Racecar' the bear ended up with a cars shirt, black pants, and blue 'flipper floppers'

In the afternoon I stumbled on a little store named Ready to Sew Bernina. It is the cutest little fabric store with the friendliest staff. They have the cutest selection of fabrics, and a huge sale section ;) And they offer all kinds of sewing classes that I really want to take now. I ended up purchasing way too much. BUT some of the fabric I bought went to good use today. I upholstered my sisters dining room chairs! Easiest thing ever! Seriously only took 15 minutes to do all the chairs.
She has the cutest furniture, but the fabric on the chairs just wasn't very bright so we decided it was time for a change. We wanted something more noticable and fun.

First we tore the other fabric off. Then we traced the seats on the new fabric and cut them out
Then all you have to do is use a staple gun and staple the fabric on the back, and Voila! You are finished!

                                          so much better!!!

We sing here. We dance here. We laugh here. We cry here. We hug here. We kiss here. We skip, hop and twirl here. We feed birds here. We watch spiders here. We dilly here. We dally here. We see the sky in puddles here. We read here. We dream here. We plant seeds here. We grow here. We turn our flower faces to the sky and we bloom here
